I have read the whole series and I couldn't ask for a better set of books to read. The characters are memorable and loveable, the setting is warm and welcoming and best of all is the quilting. All the history, all the stories of how and why they are made. I started quilting a few years ago because of this series, I always thought it would be too hard but the books made it seems simple. Enjoy reading all of them, I got most of mine from the library too.

God bless,

Judy

Every time I am hoping my library gets them soon, but still no duh. I asked and they told me that the books are *not in demand enough to order* yikes...people here don't know good books lol.

I have read the first five books. Good reading. The other books are on my "to read" list.

I got the first 6 as 3 in 1 books on Christian Book Distributors. They were quite cheap that way compared to buying individual. I love the series and just got the lastest one but have to finish my Thomas Kincaid book in the Cape Light series first, another good one!!

jennifer chiaverini is the author
here's a site
http://elmcreek.net/

it seems there are about 24 or 25 books -but the series is not that big! she has also put out books with patterns and such....

tonite i finished #5 -the quilter's legacy--took me less than a day...well- about 6 hours includin time out for sneezing and supper...

i just love the books tho i have found some errors that the editors/proofers have missed! one minute someone is driving a minivan next minute it's a motorhome --and some other errors - but the books are great!the characters are human!!and the history lessons....

shirley-go to the library and ask for elm creek quilters books-they'll know!
