I love potato soup but I have never tried leeks. Are they much different than regular onions?

Julie, they are similar but different. I LOVE leeks now. I would definitely recommend them. Somewhere between a green onion and a a white or yellow bulb onion flavour, I think, but yet very mild.

We had potato and corn beef soup yesterday
we will eat left overs tonight and home made banana bread just got out of the oven. yummy. hugs sheila
