I absolutely love autumn . . . the splendor of the colors, the cool breezes, the crunch of the leaves . . . I took some pictures of our farm and I think I am the luckiest girl in the world to live where I live! Come take a peek!

Brenda You have a beautiful blog. Looking at it dropped my blood pressure several points, & made me want to sit in a rocker & sip some apple cider. |

Thanks girls . . . I truly do feel blessed to live here . . . the house is certainly a big project, but so worth it . . . the location is heaven as far as I am concerned . . . forget streets of gold . . . I will take wheat fields instead anyday! LOL!

Brenda,
I also LOVE fall and anticipate it every year!!! There is just something about the colors and smells and just a certain feeling in the air. It is gorgeous out today, isn't it?!?!
I'm very familiar with the area where you live. There was a time when I knew all of the roads from Hillyard to Mt. Spokane and have always loved the Orchard Prairie area. I have friends that live in your general area -- across the little valley just off of Morgan and Bruce Roads. I prefer where you live, though.
I live in the valley and used to do a lot of driving between Hillyard, where I grew up, and out here. My mom moived out to this area three years ago but whenever possible I take Bigelow Gulch to Lehman Road and wind around so I can go down the hill near Arbor Crest. We see deer and wild turkeys -- one day we even saw a mother deer very patiently waiting for her fawn to follow her across the road.
I am glad you live in such a beautiful area and enjoy it so much! I'd sure like to visit you someday!

Karin, I love driving on Bigelow Gulch too . . . which is good, since I am on it almost daily! LOL! It is so beautiful in the fall . . . all the colorful fall trees on the lovely winding road. I would love to have you come see our farm. We have cancelled our November sale (just haven't had time to get much new stuff done, between caring for my Daddy, taking care of the kiddos and hubby, drywalling the basement and trying to be a somewhat decent housekeeper! But I will keep creating all winter and will have some great finds by my March sale!
Hugs & Blessings,
Brenda

Great photos Brenda. Wish I had more trees on our property,,,,some day. Watched a very large coyote this a.m. across the field, as well as lots of deer pooh all around our plantings...
