Hi Farmgirls,
I just had to share pics of our new little girl . . . this is "Siete" (Spanish for "seven" . . because she is #7 in our little herd). She is just 3 days old and, I think, just adorable!!!!
We have a hobby herd of Longhorn cattle (there are some other threads here with pics of them) and "Siete" is our newest addition. She is half-Angus and half-Longhorn.
And, what is that on your little head, "Siete" . . a tiara perhaps?

Oh CJ thank you for sharing her with us! She is just the cutest little thing! I love her name too- it not only sounds lovely- it makes perfect sense and fits her too!

To answer some questions:
Nope, you can't get really very close to her . . . mom is MOM!!!
We plan to keep her . . .hopefully she'll bless us with more babies too!
Don't know if she'll have horns, because of the Angus in her. Dad has horns but not very "Longhorn-ish" . . . so, my guess is she probably won't unless there is a strong Longhorn gene influence that prevails.
We are glad Dad does NOT have Longhorn horns . . .Longhorn bulls with typical Longhorn horns are dangerous!!
I hope to get close enough sometime soon to pat her little head . .

CeeJay, She is sooo sweet! And Tamara is right, she is so fluffy. Is that just her or are they all that fluffy as babies? I love longhorns, being from Texas originally, ya know. Thanks for sharing!
