We will have the first meeting of a yet to be named chapter, on Nov 5th. Please e-mail me if you are interested. Will meet from 10-2, pot luck lunch, bring a recipe to exchange (several copies, anything you have for trade and aprons are mandatory(hehe).

Hi NY Girls - so excited to have a group fairly close to me! I live in Buffalo which, I believe, is nearly only four hours away! I cannot make it to that meeting as I am leaving for Florida the day before! Please keep me posted on how to be part of this group!

What a great time we had at our Christmas get together. Put Jan 21st on your calendar. We will be meeting to start knitting dishcloths as a beginner project.

Well, happy New Year all you NYPA farmgirls. The Binghamton, NY group is now called Bing-hen-ton City Chicks --- yeah for us for coming up with a name! Our next meeting will be Jan 21st. We will be learing to knit - starting with a dish cloth. Great for all the dish cloth swaps. We will meet from 10-2 and will do a pot luck for lunch. E-mail me for directions to my house.
Please bring
1. Your apron
2. Your potluck lunch
3. A skein of cotton yarn
4. The size needles the yarn package tells you you need.
5. Anything else your little heart desires.

Tamara - Just to let you know I am still very much interested in beeing part of the Bing-hen-ton-city-chicks! It just that I do not drive and would have to take the greyhound to meetings and right now in the winter that would be just too much! Please keep me updated and I will be with you in probably April as for March I will be in Florida! Thanks so much!

OUr next meeting will be February 18th from 10-2ish. We will again do pot luck for lunch.We have 2 projects to work on 1. a sweet pincushion made from a cookie cutter 2. Bath scrub and salts
List of items to bring
Project 1
I have several heart shaped cookie cutters - I you want another shape bring it.a piece of styrofoam (a clean meat tray will do)fabric about 12 inches square.glue - able to bond fabric to metal
Project 2
4 containers to take home your beauty products
Your apron any finished (or sort of) dishclothsany projects your working on to share for show and tell, goodies for the trade basket.

The next meeting of the Bing-hen-ton City Chicks will be March 17th, 10 am.
We will be doing a bag swap - recyclable shopping bag.
We will also be knitting French bath mitts. Supplies need for that
- number 4 circular needle 15 inches long
- one skein cotton yarn - sugar and cream type
We will be having an Irish pot luck in honor of St. Pat's day!!
