Hi - I'm Karen from a small town in California - not far from San Jose but far enough! We live on a small 1 1/2 acre property where we have 2 horses - some chickens and dogs/cats and lot's of parrots!

Looking forward to reading and learning here.

Welcome from San Marcos, Texas! I'm a huge fan of beautiful California. Are your parrots just pets or do you breed (?) and sell them? I hope you have a good time here.

HI All - thanks for all the welcomes! I have quite a few parrots- 1 macaw - 11 cockatoo's and some amazons and conures and others. The biggest one we have is Winston - he is a Mollucan cockatoo - Winston is a lover is loves everyone from small to large! All the birds are pets - no breeding here. Most of the birds are rescues. I also help with doggy rescue - toy breeds - and care for older/sick dog's too We are a very busy house!

Hi Karen and Welcome to the Farm! I always wanted a parrot. We've had finches, canaries & cockatiels but nothing bigger.
Enjoy the Gals, they're a lot of fun and very helpful!

Karen,

Welcome from a misplaced (transplanted) Californian now in the Pacific NW, but formerly from the Sacramento Delta area. My best friend from high school lives in Aptos, now.

Your birds sound gorgeous and how great that you do so much good with your rescue efforts! I hope you enjoy the forums, it is nice to have you.
