What a fun idea! I'd like to participate in this! I'll have mine sent to my address in Wash state instead of up here in BC, so my swap partner won't have to worry about additional postage.

Some of my fav things:
1. little notepads or tablets
2. anything pink
3. rosaries
4. anything chocolate
5. journals or calendars
6. playing cards
7. little dolls

Hi Lin -

My boyfriend looked at me really funny when I told him I needed "fat quarters". I'm not sure what he was thinking, but I'm sure it didn't have anything to do with fabric! Fat quarters are 1/4 yards of fabric cut in a rectangle instead of cut the width of the fabric. They are very popular with quilters and many quilt patterns call for a mixture of "fat quarters". Hope that makes sense to you!

Can't want to do this swap - it should be a lot of fun!

Hugs,
Luanne

Luanne,
Thanks for the explanation...i thought maybe it had to do something
with quilting but wasn't sure. Thanks again

I'm holding off for awhile, too. I've finished the stocking, but I'm still working on things to put in it.

I know that I will love it all and am getting more excited about it but probably won't open it until later, if that is ok...

Beekeepersgirl- I am having fun working on your stocking now but most likely will not get it mailed out until closer to the end of November. I will email you directly when it posts in the mail. Just in time to hang by the chimney with care if you do your decorating right after Thanksgiving! I love this idea because my Mom always had fun stockings for everyone at Christmas no matter what age! Sometimes the stockings were the most fun on Christmas morning ---all those possibilities stuffed into a sock dangling by the fireplace. Who can resist??

Hi Winnie!

I won't have yours ready until after Thanksgiving either, so please don't rush! I agree that my stocking was always such a treat as a child. We didn't have a fireplace, but my stocking was hung on the foot of my bed, and no matter what time I woke up, I was allowed to open my stocking as long as I didn't get up and go into the living room where the Christmas tree and presents were located until after Mom and Dad were up and breakfast was eaten. I still don't know how they managed to get that stocking stuffed and hung on my bed without me waking up! Such wonderful memories..............

Big hugs,
Luanne

Well I received my stuff a stocking box today and am excited about it but I am not opening it until after Thanksgiving, so everyone will have to wait until then. I just wanted you to know I got it today.
