Both my husband and daughter could use some good news this week in their long (2 years for daughter, more like 3 years for hubby) search for work.
My husband is working now, but is really hoping for a better opportunity . . . of course, he will buck up and do what needs to be done, but he retrained when his other job disappeared and has worked so hard. . .
My daughter is continuing to be turned down for job after job. She is volunteering and has an internship, so she is still working really hard (and paying for gas, etc.)but, she could really use a pat on the back and a job offer. She graduated with an MBA almost 2 years ago and she is one of those young people who cannot find work. I really worry about their generation. We told them study hard and you can be anything you want and now she can't even get a job at a coffeeshop because she is over-educated.
I will keep your family in my prayers. My son is starting grad school in January, hoping to be able to find work after he is finished. A college education is no guarantee for a job anymore. You can't find a job with one or without one is many cases. Hope things improve.
