seem to be stuck in a car repair loop. a loop I hate. The Oldsmobile sounds like a tank, needs exhaust. can't convince my son to pay for a muffler. HE drives the car. Just paid $300 for some safety valve thingy for it when it stopped running. The Taurus's check engine light is on and blinking and according to the internet it means the catalytic converter is overheating. yeah, so the money I have for the gas and cable/phone bill is going to car repair instead. Sure hope the gas and cable companies don't mind getting paid late again. Can't we go back to the horse and buggy days ? Or maybe I should just buy a bunch of bicycles for us all

Patricia, I know how you feel. Seems when it rains, it pours!!!!! It seems like once a car needs repairs, it ends up being nonstop. Hope all will start going better for you. Things do have a tendency to happen all at once, then all ends up well in the end. Good luck to you.
