I have had this stashed in my vintage sewing goodies box...and thought I would pull it out to share with you. I posted these pics on my blog.... This is from 1935.. it was a marketing tool to encourage women to buy J&P's bias tape.... It was also a form of re-purposing.... an old empty wooden spool, cut out the 'pet' from the bias tape card, a dab of glue & Voila! instant toy..... no batteries required! lol!
