Hi Mary, I received my beautiful hankie from you in today's mail - love it :)! So pretty and knowing it was your Great Grandmother's makes it so much more special. Thanks for sharing a part of your family with me.
Your hankie went out in the mail today, hope you like it. I just collect hankies from where ever I find them - no special sentiment that I know of - other than they are old and were loved by someone, which makes them special to me :) If Hankie's could only "Tell their story" whouldn't it be wonderful. Just like all the old linens that I collect, and worn out quilts too.
Thanks again - the pattern is so pretty - lavender and yellow, love that combination.

The hankies are on their way!
I shared with my mother about our hankie swap. When she was a kid part of their dress code for school was to have a hankie. They were asked to show their hankies when the morning role was called. She dug some of her old hankies out for us to share. Now she has her eye out for them everywhere she goes. (That's a lot of places....the woman gets around!)

Oh Kathee, I love that!! How special that makes it! Thanks for sharing that story, Tell you mom I will cherish it!! I'd give anything if my Granny was here, to take her hankie out of her purse and tell me to blow! My Hankies will go out Monday! I still have not heard back from one of my Girls. I am going to keep trying!

Mary LD, your Hankies, Vintage and Freshly Laundried and Ironed are Mailed out this Morning! Kathee, I am waiting for yours to dry and then I will iron them! I so enjoyed ironing them, brough back memories when I was a little Girl and my Granny would let me Iron the small things,I was only 6. Jamie I will keep yours till I hear from you, You dont have to send me one, It's ok, if you've had something come up. I would love to mail them to you! Email me!
