Hi Farmgirls! We are having our 2nd annual CampOut Oct 14-16th at my farm in Iola,TX. We would love to have you join us. Sisterhood membership not required but incouraged. Who wouldn't want to be a member of this special group of ladies. We had such a great time last year that everyone is looking forward to it again. We had some trailers and lots of tents and a ton of food. We had some guest speakers and had a homemade swap. We did a hayride and some fishing (not this year as we have had no rain and now no ponds) I have decided to do a theme each year from here on out and this year the theme is BEES. I am trying to get our local Apiary to help out with giving up some pointers on doing bees. So please email me if you have any questions and I will updated as the time gets closer. Hope ya'll can make it!

Hi Ladies,
I have fantastic news to share. I have booked a man who is coming on Sat. for the campout to teach us all about BEES. He is bringing all of his stuff and a hive to teach us from the beginning. He will be here for a presentation at 9 am so I hope you all can come and learn with me! I am posting his website so you can check him out and see what he will be sharing with us!

Hi Ladies,
I thought this year we would try a different food pantry in our community and they are running a toy drive for Christmas. So instead of bringing the items like last year I ask if you could please bring one or some of the requested items if possible. (Not a requirement)

Toys ages 14 and under, mostly 3 - 10 years of age though. Suggestions, trucks, dolls, tea sets, stuffed animals, dvds. Needing clothes boy/girl birth to 2 years. Also could use wrapping paper and scotch tape.

Also we will be doing a homemade swap which is alot of fun. Just make something homemade you like to do and put it in a brown paper bag and we will put them all on the table and then draw numbers and go in order. This really worked well last year and was a lot of fun. Make sure if it is something you sell put a note or business card in with the item. Someone may want to purchase something more from you later.

Can't wait only one month away!
