I saw this magazine the other day at the store and LOVED all the info in it. I had no idea this magazine existed! I think I may get a gift subscription for my FIL and husband. :) My FIL and DH LOVE Mother Earth news, so this will be right up their alley.

We just picked this up a couple weeks ago. A friend had got the summer issue and said it was great. We saw the fall issue and I paged through. We saw venison on one page, hunting squirrels on another, and an article on homemade wine on another page...we knew it was the magazine for us! Reminds me of a cross between Backwoods Home and Countrywide...except twice as thick! :) It would be a GREAT gift for your FIL and hubby!

I was just coming here to post about this magazine! I picked it up at the newsstand to take on vacation with me last week and LOVED it. Yes, it's spendy for a magazine but it took me days to read through all the articles, and they were all so fascinating I didn't skip any. I checked out their Facebook page and it looks like subscriptions aren't available yet, but you can purchase single issues and back issues.
