Liz, you crack me up. I busted out laughing when I read your post. It's so funny we are thinking the same.

I would love to find a pattern for them in a library book, but I think the patterns are too new. Not sure.

These are SO CUTE!! ....but indeed, short legwarmers are a great way to do them. There are SO many cute patterns around...for free as well. And with a lovely scalloped edge etc HHHMMMM too many ideas floating in my head lol
