I couldn't resist....bought a box of vintage neck stoles and neck wraps at auction yesterday afternoon. They are really quite beautiful and NO they do not have those creepy little mink heads attached! They are lined in satin and are pretty wide-
I was thinking maybe cuffs on mittens? Any other ideas?
Talk to me ladies...

I knew of someone a few years back who made Teddy Bears out of them, they were really nice and she sold all of them in one day...

I would think they would make nice trim for coats and hats to make your own 'fancy' winter wear!

My neighbor years ago gave me a Christmas present once that I think you could do this with. Furry collars and cuffs were the "in" style back then. The collars draped down the front of any plain sweater to make it look like a fancy one. The ends were tapered. The cuffs were meant to be worn at the wrists (but were always too big for me). Back in the 90's I remember having a mink scrunchy I got in Europe. Everyone here always wanted it whenever I wore it. :)

I have a wonderful book titled Teddy Bears With A Past by Nancy Tillberg. She makes the most beautiful teddy bears. I would love to get my hands on some fur and try it out. I make regular teddies, but have never tried real fur. Would love to see what you are going to do with it.

Well...I decided to put them up on my etsy store. I quilt quite well, but the thought of tackling something with fur intimidates me to no end. So I have them for sale.

Melody,
I was going to suggest using some fur for trim on your fingerless gloves, they would probably sell well.

Hair scrunchies, barrettes, and pins! Why not twist some into a "rose", tack with a few stitches, and make a pin! :)
