Rosemary has it, and it is a really nice product. She likes to play with it when I am canning...too cute!

I really like that quality of the American Girl products. I am bummed they seem to be doing away with the historical characters and are introducing more "modern" dolls, clothes, and accessories. There is always ebay and mine from when I was a child to give to her though!

That's AWESOME!!! Umm mom (SylviaE) you see this?? lol I like american girl stuff too, its pricey but the quality is usually good. We plan to get our girls a baby around age 2 (already did for my oldest about to order one for the youngest) and a My American Girl doll around 6. Not sure if we will get them the historical ones or not although I am sad they aren't focusing on the historical ones anymore :(. I haven't found anything similar that measures up as far as quality goes.

Rosemary has the baby one and Felicity, which I NEEDED to buy her after our vacation to historic Williamsburg. I know she is still too young, but I wanted to get in now before they stopped making it.

And yes, Grandma's are the best for buying those things! That's how Rosemary gets most of hers!

My daughter is 3 and has had one since she was one. The Bitty Baby is sturdier for carrying around and the such.

I wouldn't get a doll with hair until they can take care of it pretty well on their own. Last Christmas my girls were 5 & 7 and Grandma bought them each one. I've spent the last few months taking care of the dolls. I love them, but the now 6 year old needs lots of help to keep hers nice.

Not asking any questions mom. Syd's doll got here yesterday and sofia's is on the way. Syd has had a bitty baby since she was 2 and its awesome, has held up very well, we did send it to the "doll hospital" last year to get cleaned up and they did a great job.

Each of my three daughters wanted them, so we had each save for half, and we met the other half. First daughter actually did this twice, once for Molly and later for Addy. I made clothes, and we hit thrift shops for 'make-do ' versionss of many things, but they really loved them for imaginative play. Each was between 6 & 8 when they got the doll.
