Hi Ladies-
I just wanted to update you on Sky. She had her ACL surgery in late July and never really recovered. She had an up and down recovery. I was so sure that she was on her way to recovery after this last round of antibiotics. She was eating again and seeming to have more energy.
Unfortunatly in the last two days she had another crash. We were going to head back to our vet in Wyoming for further treatment, but she passed away in my arms tonight.
Thanks for all the love and support. I appreciate it.

So sorry for your loss. Sky was loved and had a good home, that is what every dog deserves. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you ladies...
We are going to drive to Wyoming today to bury her at my favorite childhood play spot at our cabin in the Big Horn Mountains. She will be withing a rock throw of our cabin and I will always be able to go there to remember her.

Alee, I'm so sorry! Sky was such a sweet dog and I know how dear she was to you. *hugs* My sincere sympathies to you and your family. Sky was with the people that she loved when she passed on and knew that she was loved.

| So sorry for your loss Alee. Losing a beloved dog is devestating. I like the idea that she'll be buried near your cabin so you can visit her. Two of my sweet dogs are buried by the coulee on my parents place for the same reason. |

Alee, I'm so sorry to see this. She sure did have a hard time after this surgery, poor girl. That spot sounds so nice where she will be buried. I am sending warm thoughts and hugs to you today.

Oh, I am so very sorry. I teared up when I read this. It's always so hard when you lost a beloved fur baby. I just lost my thirteen year old cat a few months ago and I still miss her so much. Know you are thought of.

Thank you ladies! You love truly helps. We are at the cabin now and Dad and Doug are digging the grave. She will be buried where I used to play when I was Nora's age. Dad made her a grave marker and nora and I will collect pretty rocks to bury with her

Your posting shocked and saddened me and I'm crying as I write this. I am so, SO sorry!!! You and Sky are fortunate to have had each other and your hearts will always be together.

Oh Alee, I am so, so sorry for your loss. Sky meant so much to you and her passing must hurt you and your family terribly. I hope you feel all the care and concern we farmgirls have for you and how much we are praying for you in your grief.
