Hi Texas Farmgirls,
My name is Bonnie and I would like to know which show is the best. Canton First Monday Trade Days or the Antique Show in Round Top? I have not been to either one of them.
Would like to go to one of them, but would like to hear your opinions.

Hi Bonnie. I haven't been to either. Is the Roundtop show year round or once a year? I read about Canton First Mondays and it's on my list of places to go when it's cooler.

Bonnie Blue, Canton is a chick's dream. It is about 250 acres of everything from hound dogs, fine quilts, junky junk that is ready for the ditch to beautiful antinque furniture. You name it and it is there. If you are not careful, you will get lost. Make sure you know which entrance you came in and where you parked your car. A lot of things are in long barns which makes it nice in summy weather. I would advise you not to go until cooler weather. It really gets hot there. I usually go on Friday when it is not so crowded. Motel reservations almost impossible to get. However, there is a lot on the grounds for RVs. It is a wonderful place to go with some of your girl friends. You can not see everything in one day. I have never been to Roundtop. I hear it is something out of this world also. Mostly better quality than Canton with upscaled antique furniture and obects. Have fun.

Thank you Texas Farmgirls. Canton is 2 times a year, Spring and then in Fall. End of September this year.

| Round Top is twice a year and Canton is each month. I have friends that are vendors in both and like both for different reasons. If your looking for antiques, vintage items and such I would go to Round Top. Not that Canton doesn't have these items, but that's what Round Top/Warrenton is all about. |

Thank you for the correction, I had them mixed up. I was thinking about Canton when I typed the wrong time of the year, for Canton, instead of the 2 times a year for Roundtop. I might be coming to Roundtop next year. Thanks for the invite.
