It is not something you can buy in your local stores, it has to be ordered. I get mine through KA flour also.

Ordered mine from Barry Farms online .

I ordered in bulk last year, so I will not need to get any for a while.

Do what you love, love what you do.

Thanks for the idea of checking an Amish store! We have a lot of Amish west of here and a store about 15 miles away that I had never been in. I found both Clear Jel and instant Clear Jel, along with dough enhancer for bread baking.

I also get mine from the Amish store. I have had it sitting in my freezer for a year now and don't really know what to do with it.

Yep! I was just going to say "Go to an amish store!!!" I've had my clear jel for a year and just like Amy, I have no idea what to use it for. I think apple pie filling was one? LOL. I just remember that I "HAD TO HAVE IT!" and then once I got it I forgot what I needed it for.

My answer as well--at an Amish store. Too bad we don't have any here in VT! I had to have my friend in OH send me some from our old favorite Amish store out there. You CAN order it on amazon too, but you'rein Ohio, should be easy to find! :)

Well.....
he he....
guess I need to hit my family up for a 2 1/2 hour road trip. Maybe I can make it next season. I'd love a weekend off.

So far, I have made blueberry jelly, blueberry syrup, blueberry french toast, a blueberry pie, and froze about 16 cups. I have a small amount left over from our 20 lbs. we bought.
