I made this a couple of years ago from a tin picnic basket that I got for a couple of dollars because the paint was scratched. I should have painted it before I put it out to prevent it rusting so bad so it would last longer but oh well, I love the rusted look too. It is out on the garden fence next to the water spigot. It keeps the soap from melting and the towel dry.

That's a fantastic idea - so cute too. I like the rusted look - and if it gets really bad, you could paint it later.

It really gets a lot of use when the garden is in! Glad you all like it. It was super simple to do. Connie

I have seen bread boxes that would work too. Just look for something that can take some weather, be water tight and can be positioned to open easily. Even an old tool box would work! Connie
