We rescued 5 from a 4-H project gone bad. 3 have thrived and we have bred one of them twice. She has small litters. My DH wants them for meat, I want them as pets and for the poo that I use on my gardens. If you are raising them for meat...never name em or pet em!

AWWWW! I had a bunny. Got him when he was 8weeks old and DID carry him around a lot. He fit in a small pouch in my jacket until he got too big to fit. I trained him to use the litter box and to walk on a leash. I had him for 6 years and miss him sooooooo much. Thank you for posting this thread Diane.

How sweet - your just want to kiss their little faces. I know there is nothing sweeter then baby animals - reminds us to enjoy the small things in life.
