The pitcher is so cute. I like the vase, too. You want the rain to go away and I'm down here in northeast Florida and want it to rain more. We are starting to have our daily 45 minutes of rain everyday this week which is what I like. We have not had rain for so long that everything has dried up. The fires nearby in GA bring smokey skies and we can smell the smooke many days. I never thought I would be wanting it to rain. I've only lived here 2 years. I came for So. CA and I didn't ask for rain there. Here we really need it. Well, I will be in NY next week for a wedding so I do hope it will stop raining there. I would like to do some thrift shop shopping with my sister-in-law while I am there.
It looks like you have a really good eye for thrift store shopping.
I wll be landing at Stewart Airport which is near Hopewell Junction about 30 minutes or so from Brewster. I think kind of south west. It is really pretty there with narrow roads and lots of trees. Last time we were there we went apple picking at farm just up the road from where my sister-in-law lives. So much fun. We are leaving Wed. so we can spend a couple of days before and after the wedding enjoying that area. I lived in NYC for a few months when I was about 10 years old but living in the city gave me the wrong impression of NY at that time. I didn't know it was such a pretty state. I am glad to go right now to get some relief from the heat down here.
