Guess it all kicked off with the prank call I got last night about 9:00 from some 12 year old telling me that she was first, the "milf" I ordered last night, baby and then when she realized I was a "she", she became the male stripper I ordered last night, baby!"...this morning, one of the digital construction signs on 75 near Florence had been hacked to read "Zombies Ahead"...I laughed my head off, into work, because it made that cold shower I had to take due to the water heater being flooded a LITTLE more bearable. Once I got to the law office, I noticed a horrible stench, and stains on the steps to my office. It got worse when I went to rinse my cup out in the bathroom. Someone, long after office hours, had a TERRIBLE bathroom accident and left evidence ALL over the bathroom and carpeted steps up to the first floor. Just TOTALLY disgusting. There were two attorneys here much later than usual, and they came in after the cleaning crew left because they were at the baseball game with friends and I'm sure, drinking ensued and pretty poor judgment followed the drinking. And I keep thinking to myself, "you're still laughing, so you aren't crazy yet!" Or perhaps I've surpassed crazy!!!!

If you are asking, you are not crazy yet! You made me laugh about the sign too. I didn't know they could be hacked.
Now the nasty accident was not funny! No accounting for some folks...

I know that the full moon was last week, but darn! It's like it's back again. Maybe it's a new moon, now, causing all the havoc. I loved the Zombie sign. Made my morning--until the bathroom incident. You're right--it's just too much to comprehend. Some people!!!!

No, sadly our law clerk did, though. We had to go get industrialized cleaners and the poor kid, well, that's not what you sign on for when you're a law clerk. Yard work, yes...

Then it just gets weirder. I keep getting this email from some woman named Teresa Stout in my work email, alleging that I cheated on her and that I'm a low life loser and she'll find true love and God will never forgive me. The first one I didn't open because I didn't recognize the name and after 4 contacts from this person, I thought, well, maybe it's a client or contact of some sort. I finally had to respond and simply threaten an internet stalking suit because, well, duh, she's contacting a law firm!

Here's the newslink so your girls can see the sign.

You should laugh, Mary Beth, I though it was hilarious! The Zombie part was the best part of my day! Now, 40 more minutes until I see my baby girl and a nice, cool glass of white wine. I think some weeding in the yard is in order to wash this day off!!!

It was truly funny. I hope the pranksters don't get into too much trouble. Very good for a laugh, especially since this week has been full of 2-3 hour traffic jams due to road closures caused by storms and flash flooding. It's nice to have a little levity during the rush hour!

OK Jonni
I just looked at the link.
The one I saw was when Jim & I were driving to Pam's & it was one of the big overhead signs that informs of upcoming traffic. I think it was on 471, last year some time.

ROFL!
You just reminded me of when we got a prank caller a couple years ago late one saterday evening.
They called us about 3 times in the space of 45 minutes, then my husband asked the kid the 4th call if he was aware that this fitted the legal definition of harassment, and was punishable by 30 days in jail (i have no idea, really.) Then he asked to speak to the boys mother!!! he said she was in bed. We told him if he called one more time we would call back until she answered the phone. He decided to apologize and not call us again.

"After eating an entire bull, a mountain lion felt so good he started roaring. He kept it up until a hunter came along and shot him. The moral: When you're full of bull, keep your mouth shut.” ~Will Rogers
