Wonderful anniversary day today with steaks on the grill, my "famous" New York cheesecake (made from scratch!) and a Tanzanite and Diamond ring from my better half of 20-years!

We're celebrating our 5th on Monday. My DH loves giving jewelry. The first year we were married, he gave me a piece of jewelry every month for a full year. I told my Mom that I was going to open my own jewelry store. lol She said he was making up for lost time. We were BestFriends for 20 years before he decided that he wanted me for his Wife.I was married before,when I was a kid of 20, but he never was. We were both 51 when we married. I told people, "See, there's hope yet for us older folk. Don't think you youngsters have the monopoly on it!" hahahaha
Since so few take marriage seriously anymore, we ALL need to celebrate our Anniversaries and make a BIG deal out of EVERY year! Amen?
