Is there any work to be had up there/ways to get to it? I have a young lady in my charge who has recently graduated high school who may be interested in a change in scenery.

Oh oh, in my dream of dreams!! I am so in love with the pacific Northwest! I have a husband though and like the candidate above would need to find work (and my hubby would want his own place eventually). :) Ah well. I will keep dreaming.

Jen there is, shelton isn't too far from Olympia and many other small suburb towns. Lindy, it sounds lovely! We travel through shelton every couple weeks on the way to our river camp. Have looked at land there but would be a haul for hubby to keyport. :)

Lindy is there more information about what you want to have your farm doing?? Is it for food growing, animals, crafts, classes or is there a plan in place?? I have been thinking of selling my farm and moving to a small scale operation - I come with a ton of skills, business and farm experience but would not wish to give up my fiber business. Is there room for studio work and also storage of products for sale??? I am an organic farm for 15 years so I do not know what you interest is in that skill set. I have been looking into many new adventures and would love to have more information. You can send me an email thru this site which is private. Or if there is a time of day that you could talk - I am working a ton on the computer for the next two days but would love to know more....
