I am! There are quite a few other farmgirls from MT around here somewhere! Where do you live in MT? I'm in SE MT close to Miles City.

Oh this makes me sad.... I grew up in Hamilton. Lived there for 30yrs. I am now in Kentucky. I like it but I sure do miss home.

Nice! Well if you do end up coming maybe we could all go to the fair and meet for lunch or something :) The fair is a fitting place for farmgirls to meet, I think!

I took a break from the chatting but I am still here South of Missoula. I don't get up to Great falls too often but will let you know if I am heading up. Feel free to contact me if you are coming South.

Quick question for my MT sisters! What are some good outdoor, non-invasive to this area, landscaping plants/flowers? More specifically what are good options toplant this spring and summer? Thanks!

I find salvia does really well for me. It comes back every year and looks lovely. I also have good luck with oregano, thyme, and sage if you like herbs. Coneflower flourishes in my garden. If you are thinking taller lilac bushes are nice and hardy too.

Ooo yay for this topic popping back up! I could also use any gardening/plant suggestions you may have :) Trying to make this a good plant year! I haven't really had one yet.
