I know that sometimes its hard to keep your mouth shut & I should have over the comments made about the airlines charging incoming soldiers.....I upset someone badly & the thread was pulled....I just want all of you to know I adore our new president for what he has done, all presidents have one of the hardest jobs in America & they have so many fighting with them that they can't always do what they want that is needed......In my mind they all get credit for just taking on the job....that said as a military wife twice over I get very upset when things are said or done involving our troops & sometimes when I am not at a 100% I say things or write things I should keep to myself....so to whoever I offended please forgive my stupidity....& I will watch what I comment on from now on....Michele'

I thought our military are fighting for our freedom of speech??? Michele I am sorry that your views where taking in the wrong light - I know your thoughts where from your good heart and did not mean any harm. Your in my heart and I know your actions where not with the intent to hurt anyone but rather to inform us.

Blessings and prayers from another out spoken farm gal.

I must have missed it. No apology necessary here. Must of been someone that does not know your post style. I can't imagine taking offense at an opinion. To me when people say/do things it is just more information about that person. I don't take it personally.

Thank you Grace and Michele you both expressed your views nicely and I appreciate you both. I believe my views were not taken in the light they were meant either but now I know. I would not want to do anything to jeopardize my being on MJF so I too apologize if I offended anyone and broke any rules, it will not happen again.

Now I am lost. Have no clue who said or did what and don't need to know.
We are a family. Family sometimes steps on each others toes. We say we are sorry and mean it and move on. It's all good!

Hi girls,

It's always good to brush up on our forum decorum rules,
http://www.maryjanesfarm.com/snitz/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=22410. Having moderated this chatroom for several years now, we've learned unequivocally that certain tones and topics get heated within several entries and that was certainly the case with the topic referred to here. The reason our forum is a well-mannered, pleasant place to be is because we monitor for topics that we KNOW will go south on us, resulting in hurt feelings, etc.

We appreciate each and every one of you and encourage you to use our chatroom as a sanctuary from all of life's blame, intolerance, and strident opinions.

Thanks girls and good morning!!!!

Carol

To those concerned about this topic, it was not your posting that caused the thread to be "locked" it actually was mine which of course doesn't show, it did for a few minutes and then was removed, the thread is still there, minus my comment regarding not being grateful for the censure to avoid "political" topics cause it may result in disharmony, No it was not you michele!
