You make me jealous for not living the country life! Sounds like you live in a wonderful place. My grandma had country sayin's such as "uss'ens" and "you'ens" She always called corn "roastin' ears" and onions were "earnyuns." I've recently been driving out to the rural areas from time to time, but the land is expensive and I'm not rich, so I don't know if I'll ever be able to have a "place in the country." But I'd sure like to.

This is why hubbs and I are planning to move to missouri, the farm life is defenitly what we want for us and our families but acreage is so darn expensive pretty much anywhere something grows out west. Oregon and Washington used to be cheap, but California money saw to the end of that >_<
At least in the Ozarks I have a dozen hobby farms bookmarked for under 170k, a couple even around 100k.
