Please Help!!! What do i do... I am in the middle of a project could i have possaple over loaded it? i have been sewing like mad this whole week. the local thrift store had one that i saw a month ago. fingers crossed that they still have it. i don't know what to do. please help!

What type of machine - sometimes with the programmed computer types they just get themselves messed up and just shutting them down and giving them a bit of a break before turning on rights them without a fuss.. Mine will do that sometimes if I am changing settings over and over again...
If it is a manual I agree take apart what you can check that fabric is not jammed somewhere so that the machine can not work correctly and them if all else fails to it to folks to fix them. I know what a pain and money but better then making it worse...
