Great Pictures Debbie

This morning here at the farm I had heavy dew hanging in the air and so my sunrise what not as bright but the air was incredible - the animals and I just stood and took in deep breaths. Get ready for record highs today....

Enjoy our Rocky Mountain High's

I loved this post title! My favorite Uncle, Clark, lived in Monument, CO and Pikes Peak was in "his backyard", too :) I can't tell you how many pictures I've taken of those mountains off his deck over years of visiting. My first trip at 2 weeks old was up to the top of ole' Pikes Peak, and there are pictures of a very tiny me in a very big snow bunting to prove it!

Enjoy the sun!

Drop by sometime Elaine for a visit, you would love Colorado.
Isn't it wonderful Grace that Spring is finally here? I was actually able to leave all my container plants and herbs on the deck last night, it was the first night it was not below freezing.
I will not get as warm as you Grace since I live at 9000 feet but we are suppose to have nice warm temps with all the lovely wind:-)

How wonderful Jonni that you have got to experience our sunrises and Pikes Peak.
I tell you Farmgirls I have lived all over the United States and Europe while my husband was in the military, but there is nothing I have ever seen like theses sunrises and the beautiful mountains.

Debbie

Hi Kris~
I lived in Georgia for many years so you are so right the sun coming up is beautiful there too.
Miss Georgia so much, so............my Son and I will visit Savannah and a very Dear Friend of mine in July to celebrate hers and my birthday. We live on the 6th and come home on the 14th, I can not wait to walk on the beach I miss it so.
How far is Chickamauga from SAvannah? The city sounds familiar but I do not know if I have ever been there.

Debbie

Kris, now I know why Chickamauga is so familiar, I have been through there many years ago when my hubby and I went to TN. It is over 6 hours from Savannah, darn it I was hoping I would be able to meet you. Maybe someday.

Yep, Sav. is at least that far away. I used to live in Sav. and the beach. I miss going down there. My parents lived in Statesboro and before animals we would go all the time. But now they have a house up here. One day I am just going to go spend a week in a little cottage at the beach. I don't like the water but I love the sound of the waves and walking on the beach. But maybe in Nov. Chick. is not too far from Chattanooga. It's beautiful here. My brother and sister live in Col. Springs. I have been a few times. It's too busy and the houses are SO close together there. I can only visit for a few days then I am ready to come home to the country. Y'all have a great time in Sav. I love it there. So many places to see there.

Wow, Kris I can not believe your brother and sister live in Col. Springs, I live about 45 minutes from there high up in the mountains. We lived in Col Springs 1 year, that was enough for me, give me the mountains and country life anytime.
If you ever come to the Springs to visit your family, you are always welcome to come visit me here in the mountains for some peace and quiet.

Debbie

Debbie you do have a wonderful state, I have been to Denver and all around many times doing antique shows, I miss traveling now but would love to come back just one more time, I have some friends that have a shop in Boulder called The West End Gardner. They have wonderful things especially if you are into garden things
