It's in the 90's today and tomorrow, but I still cannot work or plant in the gardens. The ground squishes as I walk. It's that bad. I think we've been getting rain almost daily since late April.
Sorry to hear you still cant get outside and work Its frustrating I know. We have been pretty lucky here on Long Island lately-the weather for the most part has been cooperating- now if I can just spread myself thin enough to do all of the project I want! Enjoy your Memorial Day! Smiles,

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away..
We have had alot of rain as well. there has been flooding in neighboring towns. We live up high enough and the road crew keeps up on the ditches beside our road so it has not washed out at all this time.
I have only planted the snow peas and that several weeks ago. the weather report said this has been the wettest spring in recorded history. thursday night Montpelier, the capital and Barre the next city east received 4 inches of rain in 4 hours. both have a river that runs through them that overflowed its banks.
With all this rain the ground water resrvoirs should be full so our spring should be all set for the summer months.
Please send the rain to us here in West Texas. We're having a serious drought - the worst since the horrible one in the 1950s. We'll take all the rain we can get.

I think mother nature has things a bit mixed up this year. I've never seen so much rain this time of year. I'll add a prayer for rain to visit West Texas.
