I have a big mound of lemon balm in my yard. What are some good uses for it? Thanks Laura![](icons/icon_smile_big.gif)

I've said on other threads that I scent my vinegar for cleaning/laundry softening. Just pack a large canning jar full (really pack it full). Fill with vinegar. Sit in sun for 2-3 days. Strain. Nice, subtle scent. Also, you could dry to use sachet in drawers. |

You can use it for cooking, for tea, as a nice smell in sachets, as a blend in scent in soaps, and I have even rubbed fresh herbs on my skin to use as perfume in a pinch. My Hubby prefers I use the rosemary for that!
I do know people who put some herbs in an old sock, tie it closed, and throw it in the dryer with the laundry instead of dryer sheets!
