Greetings lovely sisters!
My hubby and I just purchased a five acre farm in Brush Paraire, WA. Boy do we have our work cut out for us! This place has been sitting empty for 3 years and is so overgrown with weeds and Blackberry brambles.
A little about me, I am a mom of 2 boys, and expecting a another boy in July. I run a homebased herbal remedies/ wellness consultations business. www.verdantapothecary.com
Our plans for the farm include turning one of our out buildings into a studio where my mom and I can teach and demonstrate fiber arts: handspinning, weaving, knitting, etc and also produce our artisan soaps and herbal remedies. We are looking into participating in the local farmer's markets next year!
We purchased our first chicks and will also be getting goats and sheep soon.
Great to be a member here and looking forward to getting to know my fellow sisters!

Welcome! It sounds like you have your work cut out for you for sure, but it sounds like fun, rewarding work. I am so glad you found us to share your journey with.

I have lived in, actually on the outskirts (west side) of Spokane, WA. for going on 4 years....and I still can't find my way out of a paper sack around here! lol!
