I always wished I was more crafty, more artsy, more organic, but I've come to see, writing novels, in some ways is all that.

From my fingertips to you! I've written, The Last Letter, a book that I think Farmgirls will love! Or at least, I humbly hope so. I love to hear from readers so please contact me!

It's historical fiction--the novel for every daughter who thinks she knows her mother's story...

Back of Book:
Katherine wouldn’t have believed it if she hadn’t found the letter...

Katherine Arthur's mother arrives on her doorstep, dying, forcing her to relive a past she wanted to forget. When Katherine was young, the Arthur family had been affluent city dwellers until shame sent them running for the prairie, into the unknown. Taking her family, including young Katherine, to live off the land was the last thing Jeanie Arthur had wanted, but she would do her best to make a go of it. For Jeanie's husband Frank it had been a world of opportunity. Dreaming, lazy Frank. But, it was a society of uncertainty—a domain of natural disasters, temptation, hatred, even death. #8232;#8232;

Ten-year-old Katherine had loved her mother fiercely, put her trust in her completely, but when there was no other choice, and Jeanie resorted to extreme measures on the prairie to save her family, she tore Katherine’s world apart. Now, seventeen years later, and far from the homestead, Katherine has found the truth – she has discovered the last letter. After years of anger, can Katherine find it in her heart to understand why her mother made the decisions that changed them all? Can she forgive and finally begin to heal before it’s too late?

Available at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Independent bookshops, Nook, and Kindle.

I don't know if that worked, so I'll post and see. Sorry that I'm new to this!

Thanks for your kind thoughts! It's little sentiments like that which bring such joy to the process! Let me know which CSFS book you own!

You're so funny! I know what you mean--I'm endlessly adding books to my shelf and I do get to them all, but slowly, it seems! There's nothing like knowing a great book is waiting for you, though...I love that feeling! I hope you like the book!

I wanted to share with all the farmgirls how much I am enjoying Kathie's great grandmother Jeanie, letters. I am half way through the book and can not wait to finish so I can read The Last Letter.
Jeanie's love letters to Frank are just so sweet and at 19 she sure did know her heart. Such sweet and tender letters, how I wish Kathie had Frank's letters to Jeanie, maybe one day they will turn up.
Thank you Kathie for sharing your books with me, I am enjoying them so much. Looking forward to reading your novel as I know it will be just as wonderful.
Farmgirl Hugs,
Debbie

Hi Jackie,
I just realized I over looked your email with your address. We must have been sending emails at the same time because my reply to your email with your address seems to be responding to the email before that one! I didn't realize you sent your address! I'll put it in the mail today!

Big apologies!
