Hello! I currently live in Kansas City, but I am definitely a farmgirl at heart. I have two daughters, 15 years and 8 months. I bake, can, make jams and jellies, make all kinds of soap and bath stuff, sew, crochet, garden, read. I have a little quarter acre yard where I grow herbs and vegetables in pots.

I am so excited to be here, and can't wait to "meet" everyone and make a few friends!

Hi Stephanie! Im new here too and new to the Kansas City area. I just moved here from Iowa and am looking to meet new like minded people. Do you belong to a FG chapeter in the area? I just planted my small garden in the back yard. I sew and knit, love tea and Jane Austen and doing all sorts of crafty DIY.

Welcome, Stephanie! You will love it here. Sounds like you have a lot of close by farmgirls. I lived in KCMO in the late 60's early 70's. Also lived in Indep, Mo, Lees Summit and Raytown. Miss a few of the attractions.

Hello and welcome Stephanie! I moved to Raymore (just south of you) from KC a few years ago. Hubby still works in KC though. Hi Brandi, Lees Summit is just next door to Raymore. I'm so glad there are so many Farmgirls in the area.

I know where you are. Will be there myself next month. My husbands two 90+ sisters live close by and we will visit them after seeing my granddaughter graduate from basic training at Fy. Leonardwood, MO
