help! I havea griddle and managed to burn some oil on it while making pancakes. It is now sticky and I can't get it off. Any suggestions? It's a newer one, so teflon top.

I have no idea what they are made of but I bet one of the magic sponges would wipe it right off. I had some gunk on my coffee maker that wouldn't come off. A brief swipe with a wet magic sponge and it was gone. Let us know what works.

I have tried the baking soda and it did not work. I'd hate to throw it out, but it is difficult to cook on now.
