Does anyone make a liquid soap for a pump bottle? I have never seen goats milk liquid soap.
There is probably a reason but I can't figure it out!
Can I make a liquid soap from a bar of handmade soap? Would it be too gloppy for a pump? Would it go bad?
I love handmade soap and natural ingredients. I also love keeping my sink area clean and visitors prefer not to use bar soap that has been used even just at the sink. (Silly I know, but true.)
If anyone can figure out what I'm asking please help!

I have made liquid soap including goats milk liquid soap. If made with goat's milk the color will be darker - darker than I like. The soap is not as thick as commercial which bothered me at first but not any more! I do love it and love knowing exactly what's in my soap.

I tried making liquid soap with grated soap. There are a lot of recipes on the internet for it, but I didn't care for it. I couldn't get a consistent product. One day I would think it was perfect and the next day it would be too thick. I do sell my soap so that wasn't good enough.

I make my soap with Potassium Hydroxide (bar soap uses sodium hydroxide (lye)).

If I can be of any help, holler. Otherwise this may be a fairly decent website to help. http://chickensintheroad.com/house/crafts/how-to-make-liquid-soap/

Also, makes great soap for the foamer bottles.

Thanks Penny! That site answered a lot of my questions and helped me understand why i don't see more liquid soap for sale. I felt like the grated soap would be a problem based on the posts about liquid laundry soap!
