Homestead Pioneers is a group in Columbus Ohio that I started for people who are interested in self-sufficient living. local Farmgirls come and join me in helping other people who are interested in homesteading. It will be lots of fun.

Sure wish I lived nearby, Solange...I'm south of Cincinnati, but know Columbus well. Spent my whole life coming to Grove City to visit my Grandmother, or stay with my dad while working at Beulah Park.

Crazy! I am currently sitting at my desk in Covington, near 5th and Greenup Streets :) Beualah Park is a thoroughbred racetrack that was built in the 30's at the end of Park Street, in Grove City. My Great Grandmother ran a boarding house for jockeys and my dad was a jockey, but later worked as a racing official there, which is how he and my mom met.

4 generation of my maternal lineage lived on Park Street, so I guess it was just being in the right place at the right time :) I love little Grove City--would move there in a heart beat but my husband says it's "too flat"...
It would also help if I spelled it correctly :) "Beulah" http://www.beulahpark.com/
