We bought a house last year that has awesome roses that would be great for harvesting rosehips. I do know that the previous owners were pesticide happy people and sprayed their plants and glass regularly.

I'd rather not use rosehip or the dandelion greens for the yard until I know the nasty pesticides are gone. Will that ever happen?

My husband thinks two years should be enough time, but I'm really unsure.

Thanks for the help!

wait 2 yrs, and have the soil tested in several differant spots in the yard, up to 3 feet or more deep, you can also have the roses tested also...
