Ann in Washington State and Debbie in Alaska, I sent your mail art out and you should have received it by now. If you haven't let me know and I will send another.

Hope everyone is having an awesome week! The bugs have all awoken here in Missouri and I am already tired of them

Went trout fishing this morning with hubby and a friend, and when we got back and checked the mail--fun! My May mailart from Rachael in Mo was in there.
Rachael, I really loved this card-the photo reminded me of my childhood and our days spent at the beach at the Indiana Dunes-This photo on your card was dated august 1953-and it took be back-as I was born in 1949 and there were 3 of us growing up. so this card you made for me was extra special.
I also loved the seeds-especially the calendua seeds-as I don't have any of those and I love to make things with the flowers.
so thank you so much-I Love my Mailart Kathy

kathy in ozarks,
I am so happy that you love your seashore card. The pic is of my uncle and aunt and mom at the beach. We are digitalizing all of my 92 year old grandmother's photos which has been awesome to do but I am sad to throw the photos away! So this is my way of recycling them. I am so glad it made you happy, that was my intent. :) Happy Summer, sweetheart,
Rachael

Farmgirl Sister's. I have a really important request to make here, if your interested please email me!

My 36 year old niece, mother of 4 has just been diagnosed with a melonoma tumor on her left lung, spots on right and liver. This is devastating to our family. She looks and feels fine, but I know her spirit is in need of some RAOK and beautiful mail art from people like us! Caring, sisterly, genuine farmgirls at heart!
If you would like to make an extra card and send it to her with words of wisdom, spirit filled messages, your own survival story or just encouring words and uplifting messages, please email me for her address.

Praying for successful treatment, peace, strength!

Carolilene, I'm so sorry to hear of your niece's illness. Will be praying for her and your family and will certainly send her some mail art to cheer her. I'll email you. Hugs, MaggieMB

Thank you Nini for the sweetest April angel mail art ever. I just received it today and I love it! It really brightened my day. I hung it at my desk with my other mail art. What a fabulous picture, song lyrics and I love, love, love the 'orange' sun.

Nini, I have to tell you ~

Our weather here in Oklahoma has been slightly crazy this year. It was 52 when I got up this morning, which is unheard of. So, when I come to this thread to see all the wonderful Mail Art pictures, your mail art at the top of the page always makes me smile! Love the bright colors, the oranges, the sun...all of it!

So thank you! Looking at the pictures, makes me happy!

Hello, Jill, Thank you so much for my mail art! I had just gotten home from the dentist which wasn't the most pleasant experience and your mail just brightened up my day! I love love love the painting on the envelope, I savored that before I even opened it, and the beautiful card inside was so neatly done. I don't know how you got the stitches in there! It is really cool and I am going to enjoy it for a while and then give it to my grandma in the nursing home who is an artist and will enjoy it as well. Thanks again, rachael

Rachael, glad you liked the mail art, hope your grandmother does also. what a thoughtful thing to do, I know when my dad was in the nursing home he would enjoy anything we brought to brighten up his day. I enjoy the mail art group also, it is fun to see the art from the girls and what they create. Have great day which should be better then thinking of going to the dentist, know how you felt.
