                      | OK ~~ I checked JoAnn's, Michael's. Hobby Lobby and Walmart. No heart shaped templates of ANY size..... so my adventerous mom and I tried our hand at making some last night. 4 hours later, we have 4 ~ yep count them 4..... "Heart Shaped Yo yo's" . We both agree that they like more like an actual heart than a Valentine heart... so, back to the drawing board this weekend. Please be patience..... (Here I thought this would be easy!)
Meanwhile, I received Judith's lovely package of "perfectly lovely" shaped hearts with extra goodies like beeswax (Which I had just put on my wish list!") and walnut shells. I also received a lovely bookmark and package of "Wonderfully shaped" hearts from Peggy along with a very cute bookmark. Thank you to both of you ladies.

My husband just keeps shaking his head.....

                      | Thank you Judith (forgetmenot) for the lovely yo~yo hearts. I love the repro fabric you used and the adorable flower~shaped buttons. So nice of you to include the beeswax and ground walnut shells too. This has been such a fun swap.

                      | Hello Judith, yes I remember you from the first, I think you got in late, and I volunteered to send you some. I have received yours and from Sharon. I love all the yoyo's. Thanks for all your compliments. This is fun, hope that in a little while, someone will do this again, so we continue to get more yoyo's. Have not made up my mind what I am making probably a throw for my guest bedroom. Have a good Memorial Day! Farmgirl#946 Linda |

                      | Joey...you can't do a lot with 6 but in this swap we all end up with 60 of them. Some of these gals did this swap before I did and in that round they got 72 yoyo's. So that is a lot of yoyo's to make into something. And some of us want to do another round after this. Hope you will consider joining us for the next round.

                      | However the person receiving them prefers. Some want buttons and some don't. It probably depends on what the receiving person is going to do with them.

                      | I thought I posted this but can't find it..Let me start over: I have never made a yo-yo but I think I know how to do it. What I don't know is what I do with them (6 or 72) when they are done..make a quilt, towel, purse, what? I haven't seen any yo-yo things here so I really don't have a clue. Thanks for your help. | You can actually use them for any idea you come up with. I am using mine for borders on pillow cases.I am making a quilt out of the round yo yos. And also table cloths for our nightstands. If you go to the Clover website , they have ideas , since they manufacture so many different templates. Hope this helps you :)

                      | Joey...I have a large heart shaped candy box...and when that is filled with heart shaped yo-yo's I am going to sew them together into that large heart shaped size and make a wall hanging out of it. I't will be a reminder of Farmgirl Love for me. I have met so many wonderful women on MJF...they are just the best. I think each woman will have her own plan for her yoyo's. I am also going to put pin backs on some of them so they can go on a jacket, blouse, purse, hat, scarf or what-ever. I also send them to other farmgirls to use in their various crafts. The use for them is just endless!
