Yes Debi and all other gals in the swap. I think it is nice if you sew buttons on them. I have sent some to other
MJF gals and I always put buttons on them. That way we not only get a variety of different fabrics in our collection
of YoYo's but also...different buttons.
Hope that clarifies it Debi. Thanks for asking...I didn't know you guys did it any other way.

I don't mind sewing buttons on mine to mail. However, can we ask to have ours without buttons if we prefer? Just wonderin?

Hi, I would like not to have the buttons on mine. I am going to make a pillow or a throw and prefer not to have the buttons. I can sew buttons on mine if they are wanted. Thanks a lot.

OK Heart Shaped Yo-Yo Mailing Addresses were just sent to every0ne participating.
Remember to check and see who does not want buttons on theirs. There was only one or two.
You Should be Able to get all six yoyo's in one mailing envelope (at least the large letter size)
with two postage stamps, unless you plan to do some "tucks" (extra little gifts).
Remember...try to have these mailed out by June 1st. If you cannot get them all mailout by then...be
sure and contact the ladies and let them know they will be a little late. If you send them out as you finish
each group of six...it will be easier.
Can't wait to see all the different marerials and buttons used.

Thats Ok Peggy , after I started putting the buttons on I liked them both ways.
I'm working on regular yoyos now to make a bed cover. I may get it done over the next ten years.

Hi, Farmgirls! I prefer my yo-yo s without buttons. However, if you already have them sewn on..don't take them off. I will use them either way. I'll start mailing mine out tomorrow.

Look at the Pretty Yo-Yo's I got from Sharon today! Love them! They are the first I have received and looking forward to getting more!

| Debra, love your little doily made with the yoyo's. I just wanted to comment about the little plate holder the vase of flowers is setting on. Do you have many? I have two complete sets, these were sold in the 60's at at store called Henke Pilot, my husbands grandmother and my aunt both worked there and collected them, with the purchase of groceries. I use them at christmas and they set a pretty table, I am always on the look out for them in junk stores, garage sales, etc. I keep looking for the lid to the sugar bowl. If you ever see one I would gladly pay you and the postage. How did you come by yours do you have a whole set or just a few? Just interested. Thanks Farmgirl #946 Linda |
