I washed and dried a plastic wood pellet bag, cut the top off, folded it down, and secured it by stitching a seam with my sewing machine. However, the next one will be done by holding down the top edge with duct tape, and securing the hole where the twine comes out, with more duct tape, so it won't stretch when I pull the strings.

Oh, and the twine is reused from the straw bales.

We typically buy corn for our corn burner, and we bring back our bags to get refilled. However, corn was almost double the price this winter, and we used a lot of wood pellets.

Kristina~ What a fantastic idea! My parents have some wood pellet bags up in Maine I think I am going to ask them to send one down my way. It would make a great wet bag for the beach! Thanks for the great idea!
