Is there an e-mail or forum to suggest new badge ideas? I thought cake decorating would be a nice one. I've been teaching my kids to decorate cakes with frosting tips etc. Here is a cake the older 2 just made (I self-taught myself by watching my own mother).
The girls are 17 and 14. They did a pretty good job mixing colors, and working the different tips.
Wow!! They did a wonderful job! A cake decorating badge is a great idea. I think you can make suggestions in the Official Farmgirl Sisterhood Members forum. I see a few other suggestions there.
The cake pan they used is one that my mother gave me from over 20 years ago. She kept all her pans and handed them down to me. I e-mailed her a photo of the cake, and she is handing down the remaining tips, tools etc. to my girls. They had planned to enter one in the fair last year. They may do it this year.
