On the news this morning they were talking about what day it was. You know the ones --It's craft day, It's balloon day. My jaw almost hit the floor when the newscasters announced what today was. It was "Blame someone else day".
My first thought was isn't that the problem to begin with. We don't take responsibility for ourselves.
So I am changing it. Today is now "Praise someone else" day.

I like the way you think, Laurie. Of course, we could change it to "take responsibility day".
Whatever day it is, hope it is a good one, filled with blessings!

There is nothing amusing about "blame someone else". Refusing to take responsibility for our own actions has created many of the problems we are facing today in this country. I also really like the idea of Praise Someone Else. So, I'll start. I think all the Farmgirls are wonderful because of their caring attitudes.

Whoa. When did this happen and who gets to name days anyway? I think you have the right idea, Laurie. That's so crazy. There's enough people out there that do that anyway, so why do we need to add to it? I love the praise day. Great idea.
I'd like to praise my hubby for being out there on the road in that big 18 wheeler and being such a good driver. 19 years now without a wreck!! And for his hard work and dedication to the company he is working for now. He is a very good and dependable driver. So if y'all see a Santa look-alike driving a big while Heartland truck, give him a honk and a wave. He'd love that.

Thanks Annette. I'm going to praise my co-workers for coming out to do this crazy job. We spend months in hotels and away from family and after long hours day after day it takes it's toll.

I'm going to praise my youngest son. He was left with a 6 mos old little girl 2 years ago and turned his life around in a huge way. He is an awesome daddy/momma, a full time college student ( In his 5th semester) making A's and B's, and works part time. He is doing it all himself. I get her 1 day/night per week and her other Grandma gets her every other week end. He does the rest. Wish you could see the way those two look at each other. Connie
