I had a fantastic time today. I met Mary Jane and Meg - and lots of other farmgirls from IL. Mary Jane and Meg had wonderful ideas about repurposing things - so talented and creative. I bought a new comforter set - the new Liberty print - for my guest room. Its beautiful... Thank you so much, Mary Jane and Meg for your generousity... Please come back again, any time!

It was also nice to meet so many farmgirls from Naperville, Chicago, Homer Glen, Wilmington, Aurora and Dixon! What a wonderful group of farmgirls. Let's get together again for a field trip or something soon! You are all invited to tea at Letty Mae's (as soon as the tearoom is open) - hope to see you soon.

It was great meeting you too Lorraine and all the other farmgirls today. Mary Jane and Meg were wonderful! I loved meeting them and seeing all the creative things they made. The goodie bag was a delightful surprise too! A huge thank you to the folks from ID!

I have pictures on my camera that I will post (and send to Lorraine)tomorrow or Monday. My husband has to upload them on his work computer. I'll get them out as soon as he does this.

Thanks again for the wonderful afternoon!

Dawn - looking forward to seeing the pictures. The gift bag really was amazing and totally unexpected. Mary Jane is very generous.

Heidi - I'll keep you posted about the tearoom, until then, stop in at Jaszy's Java and tell Darla I said Hi. Your pillow is so ca-ute... I've been meaning to try the Budget Mix. Let me know how it works.

CJ - you're absolutely right, we were sooooo fortunate to be there and meet Mary Jane and Meg. What a day!

The feeling of connectedness at this event was so amazing. I feel like everyone I met yesterday afternoon are my good, good friends. And the best part is... They are! Life is good...

It was great meeting MaryJane and Meg,and their beautiful family. I'm not a mall person but it was nice spending the day at the Mall with fellow farmgirls. Fiddlehead Farm, Bboobster and I received a few smiles as we walked through the mall with our aproms on. It was also nice to meet some new farmgirls and their little ones. Hope to see you all again and continue to meet more farmgirls.

What a lovely afternoon meeting two great ladies and one speacial spouse! Thank you to Mary Jane and Meg it was bliss you meet you each and both. Wonderful ideas for repurposing old lines and packaging, fun giveaways and the most devine chocolate possibly made...you chocolate has won me over!!!! Although I did not purchase an item yesterday we are due to work on our bedroom next and I will surely support a store that supports those causes and beliefs that are important to me. I must say It was wonderful to see some old faces and meet some online farmgirls and make a new friend in Genevene...Genevieve I sure hope you will travel to the burbs to check out one of our meeting! I post our chapters pictures every month on facebook and there are to many to post here. Contact me if not in my chapter and I will pass on the information so you can veiw the rest of the photos. Please come back some time soon.

Had a blast! You ladies are off-the-hook fun. Can't wait to see more of you Illinois gals at meetings and events...and I do hope you'll all consider attending the Creative Connection event, where I'll be teaching Pickle It! and Let's Ferment! and generally causing trouble.

Thanks again, girls!

I had fun meeting a few Farm Girls myself. I didn't stick around for the meet & greet afterwards.

Trying to see how I can fit the Creative Connection event into my schedule! Sounds like a great time.

We had a great time in Milwaukee with Mary Jane & Meg... two great women!! We were able to meet 3 other sisters from the area and we had our aprons on that CJ made. Too bad they had to go to IL and not spend more time here in WI. I bought myself a throw pillow for the bed in my Glamper, to remember the day and meeting the girls from ID. You are such an inspiration. Thank you so much for the necklace Mary Jane.

Meg! Help!

Your Mom shared her hair combs with me last Saturday and said she purchased them at Rite-Aid. They would be perfect for securing my "always seems to escape the comb and clip" hair while performing Farmgirl duties and for my work as a Nurse.

Can you find out a manufacturer and an item number for me? I have "combed" the internet could not find similar combs and as I do not live near a Rite-Aid...I find myself in need!

Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Warmly,
Sharon
