I know! I worked outside yesterday and could feel the pollen on my skin! Rubbed my finger from my nose to my jaw bone and had a roll of yellow-green pollen under my fingers. I've hiked for a week without a shower but last nights shower was the best ever! Clothes went straight into the washer. I could not bring all that pollen into my house. It was 85 here yesterday. There?

Just now on the news the weather man said it's 5,710.

Connie, it was about the same here. It's going to rain today so it's not as hot. He also said we could have some thunderstorms with tornadic activity. He will keep us posted throughout the day. Why do we always seem to haev storms on Monday afternoon?

I didn't think about wearing pollen into the house. I guess I should brush myself off first before coming inside with it being this bad.

And how high can the pollen count go anyway?

LOL It seems like everything is blooming at once. I guess that is why it is so high. I'm seeing butterflies already. Lots of them. Isn't it a bit early for them? Crazy weather. It is getting ready to storm here too. I'll keep my fingers crossed for both of us that we make it through with no damage. It does seem like Monday is the designated storm day this spring.

I put out a new hummingbird feeder last week and already have some coming to drink!! I was so excited to see them again. I have seen lots of butterflies and honey bees. The wasps are really bad so far. They are everywhere. So I am getting the plantain tincture ready for the stings which will come too.

Today was so hot and humid here - and the trees are budding - trees , I love them, but they are killing me.
