This is an excellent book on how to break the habit of hoarding......it has been written in but is still a very good teaching tool. I read this and took a test after to renew my nursing license.

| I understand the book is taken, but could you post the title, I am in the process of trying to set up a certification agenda for a presentation, and most of the books I have looked at are not fitting the bill. |

quite honestly, this is a very very sad thing----I have a friend who was a hoarder----felt very very sorry for the children.
This is an excellent book to help the horder------does not just "clean your house".....because thats only a temporary fix.

Gal friends....the book has not been taken YET. I am waiting to hear from someone...I do have info on it for those who want to order it through the publisher----it to my knowledge is not available through your bookstores---BUT you can try.

Sounds like a good book. I have some hoarding tendancies and it scares me especially after wathcing shows like Hoarders or seeing some of the homes I'm called in to help clean. Sometimes I wonder if it's genetic. My family is littered with hoarders.
I really came in to add that anyone else looking for this book might also check Amazon. They have a lot of books that can be hard to find in some areas. Might be a neat idea to find a copy of this book and start a "traveling book" thread.

I did think of the traveling book idea----but it is a book I think one really needs to own------using it for referral......it isn't a book you just read and have learned to apply. Also a serious horder would go back to it continuously for guidelines after the house is downsized of possessions and organized.

it's ok!!! i first responded i wasnt really interested in barter-the more i thougght about it i was and when you thought nobody wanted it i piped back in!!!!!!!
one thing against me often is that i cannot post from work -----so i oftn miss out on goodies because others are available to post when i cant!!!!
