Back in March,a customer in Canada purchased a tinwhistle, and I sent it off to him. Last week,he writes asking the dreaded question "where's my item?" Well, as I have to go to the post office to mail to Canada,I can't track the package, but I do send him the addy he gave me. Turns out he knows the person who lives there now,and tells me he'll drive over to see if it's there. The house is covered in snow. He literally digs around and finds it undamaged and completely intact buried in snow-the whistles come with a thick plastic case. The envelope & flyers for it are all disintegrated from the weather. The whistle plays fine.He was unaware he hadn't changed his mailing address, which is now fixed.

So glad you had a positive outcome. I bet you are relieved!

I used to sell used books thought Amazon. Just about always things go smoothly, but the time there is a problem often the seller gets the flack when the buyer didn't give correct information. Still, you want to make it right.

That is an interesting story---and the whistle still worked.

Was very relieved and amused-I don't know what alloy the whistles are made of but and was shocked it didn't rust!
