I am in the process of starting a new line with my weaving. If anyone is interested in recycling something the have and just can't throw away that has "expired" their original use such as clothing, something perhaps grandma made and is no longer functionable.... I need some ideas of what you all have that have sentimental meaning and would like a upcycled version of it. I can make a rug from about anything as long as it can be stripped out or sewn together. I have used jeans, flannel shirts, sheets, yarn, curtains. MJF sisters have all the creative ideas.... firgured I'd start here. Many thanks, Columbine

Hi Columbine, Sounds like a good idea for jeans, no longer the right size or "Style" Flannel shirts into a rug would be really nice(I think). What do you charge or trade for ??
I have a distant cousin that uses jeans for the rugs. They are really sturdy and easy to wash. But I like the idea of the flannel for it's softness and warmth on your feet! Go for it! Can't wait to see them!
